Omni Championsgate: Alexander & Lauren
I’ve been waiting for quiet some time for a truly black and white wedding, and it was worth the wait! Lauren and her parents were delighted by our ideas of Chalk Art, Mirror Art and Styling the celebration . When Denise, from Dogwood sent over the invite and the little XO fell out of the envelope, I knew we had to repeat that in the design for the event. I like to start with the invitation and let the design build from that point.
My favorite detail: I enjoy creating custom guest book alternatives for couples. In this instance the mother of the bride had amazing black and white images from grandparents on both sides. We converted everyones images to black and white and made a family photo wall as the back drop to signing the state of Florida in lieu of a book.
Lauren and Alex had lots of spirit toward their alma maters and we had lots of fun with bringing those details into the evening.
Guests enjoyed a variety of activity during the evening. After dinner, the dancing was in the center of the room and on all corners was some activity, dessert bar, milk and cookie bar, cocktail bar, and our Big Photo backdrop board ( we’ll share fun photos from the Big Board on a separate post). The evening concluded in a total cloud of black and white confetti with the newlyweds in the middle of the dance floor surrounded by family and friends!
